I grew up in Council Bluffs, IA. I was born into a racing family. My grandpa raced cars at Playland and my uncle raced sprint cars. At age 9 I got my first go-kart as a Christmas gift. My dad and I traveled to Tulsa, Phoenix, Houston, and numerous tracks throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri to go racing. When I was 17 we got a B-modified towards the end of the race season and ended up racing it twice at Onawa, Iowa race track that year. The following year we raced in the B-mod class at I-80 speedway where we had 9 feature wins in one season. After High School graduation I decided to take 4 years off of racing to focus on my career. During those 4 years I earned a degree in applied science utility line technician from Metro and began my career in linework. We got a late model in 2010 and began racing the grand national class at I-80 Speedway and Junction Motor Speedway. In 2011 I got an opportunity to drive an ARCA car in Rockingham, NC. From 2012-2017 we raced in the Bragging Rights Late Model class at I-80 Speedway and other Nebraska tracks. Starting in 2018 we will be racing in the NASCAR Super Late Model class at I-80 Speedway and other specials in the surrounding area.
