About Zach
I owe the beginning of my racing career to my good friend Jon Schalk. All of our childhood we dream't about racing stock cars and traveling from track to track. He got his chance at the age of 15, racing hobby stocks at Boone County, U.S. 30 Speedway and Mid Nebraska. I began following and helped him for a year or two before I decided I needed my own. My first racecar was a stock car, I bought it turn key. I struggled for 3 consecutive years, not making it past 6th place. The competition was really stiff, there was more experience and horse power than I could ever come up with. I took a few years and just raced a few times. I then came back with the same car, but better parts and have been racing consecutive for 6 years. Last year was a big move for me, as the late model transition was a big learning experience. But we're getting the hang of it and look forward to the 2017 racing season!
