A Note from the Promoter

A Note from the Promoter

(The Lynn Langenberg Memorial featuring 360 Sprint Cars on Championship Night)
The name of the August 21st race night at the OffRoad Speedway says it all.
First of all....Championship Night. There has been 14 IMCA points race nights in 2021 at the OffRoad Speedway. The 15th night will settle the question of who will be the 2021 Track Champions. The Hobby Stocks have the closest points gap with only 4 points separating the leader from 2nd place. The Late Models gap is 10 points. Sport Mods and Stock Cars follow with 17 and 20 points respectively.
Next... The Midwest Sprint Touring Series will be making their 2nd, 2021 appearance in Norfolk. June 5th at the OffRoad Speedway had Jason Martin taking the checkers with Ryan Bickett and Brant O'Banion rounding out the top 3. They have always put on a show and there is no reason to believe this Saturday will be any different. The 360 Sprints have been a big part of the Lynn Langenberg Memorial.
Speaking of the Lynn Langenberg Memorial....the Langenberg Family has always put the Drivers and Fans as the focal point of the Lynn Langenberg Memorial and 2021 will be no different.
For the Fans- Deb Langenberg and Guaranteed Rate Home Loans (Mike Brudigan) have donated $1000 to be given away by drawing ticket numbers. There will also be shirts, Burger King ice cream vouchers and popcycles to be given away in the Grandstands.
For the Drivers-Race Sponsors have put in extra money for the purse. These Sponsors are Helena, D&J Machine, Yeager Seeds, Outback Motorsports, Graham Tire, Chuck Langenberg, Doug Renner and Todd Vollbrecht. Additional money for winners in each class is being donated Allied Securities Insurance(Ryan Cooper) and Don Lau. Mystery money in each class is provided by Langenberg Farms(Jon & Vicky Langenberg) and Heartland Nutrition. Tom's Service will be providing fuel vouchers for certain finishing positions in each class.
All of the donations add up to a significant amount of purse money and additional prizes. A race purse will be posted soon so keep an eye out for that.

Hope to see everyone at the races on August 21st for the Lynn Langenberg Memorial, Jerry
