I have news for racers and fans for the Don Weyhrich Classic weekend coming up on July 9th and July 10th at the OffRoad Speedway. Both nights are IMCA points nights for OffRoad's four classes of Hobbys, Stock Cars, Late Models and Sport mods.
The July 10th race night will be a Draw/Redraw with extra payout. $35 for pit passes. Also the Midwest Classic Stock Cars will be on hand.
The extra pay on the the 10th will be contingent on if the driver races on Friday night at the OffRoad Speedway. Payout will be adjusted to regular pay for those showing up on Saturday only. The money will then be added to the rest of the field. I will post the payout at a future date.
As an added bonus...there will be no registration fee for new drivers at the OffRoad Speedway.
Every race night in 2021 is kids night. Kids 15 and under get in free to the Grandstands. July 9th will be an added bonus for kids. I have heard from a race team expressing their desire to give away a couple of bicycles. Others have said they would like to do it. In the past bikes have been donated but I don't think this will happen this year. At this point there are 4 bikes for sure and if anyone would like to add to that number we can make it a good night for quite a few kids. Also thinking about the having the driver or race team representative draw and present the bike to the lucky winner. So if anyone wants to donate a new bike or money to buy one, drop it off at Norfolk Diesel Repair prior to July 9th or Please call me at 402-841-0165.
This Friday there will be a Tractor Pull at the OffRoad Speedway!
