The Friday Aug 28th, portion of the Bob Haase Memorial will be a big one at the OffRoad Speedway. First off, the Late Models will have a full race program with heats and Features. It will be a draw/redraw format.
The Hobby Stocks, Sport Mods and Stock Cars will be running qualifying heat races to set the lineups for Saturday Nights Features. We shouldn't even be calling them heats. The number of laps in each race will be determined by the number of cars in that race.
The lineup for the (1st) two races in a class will be set by a pill draw. This will be for starting position and race assignment. The starting position for the (2nd) two races will be (1) an inverting of the pill draw and (2) half of the field will be swapped to the opposite race.
Lots of racing for the drivers and the fans for Friday night. We will be starting an hour later than usual and be aware of the road closed to the South of the track.
